Renewing Memberships

You may now renew your memberships by using a Visa or Master Card. That’s right, you can use your plastic out on the range, now there is no excuse for letting that membership lapse.  Also, remember that if your membership does go past due, you will be subject to a $25 administrative fee.

Club Historian Wanted!

We are looking to compile a history of RSSC to include items such as pictures, major events, officers, growth, and even our challenges as we have grown over the years.

First we need an organizer (or two or three).  Would you be interested in helping out as the Club Historian?  Hopefully, we could get a few to act as a committee and combine efforts.  If you are interested, please contact me or any member of the Board of Directors.

Second, not everyone can help out as a Historian.  You may have been a member for a long time and have information that we could use.  Give us a call and let us know what you have.  We will take it from there.

Rio Salado Sportsman’s Club, and it’s predecessor the Mesa Gun Club, is rich in history.  Some of our members go back to the beginning but we have quite a few that have been members for 20 years or more.  Some have been past officers, match directors, or volunteers that have given hundreds or thousands of hours of their time to help make Rio the best club in the southwest – or perhaps the nation!  We are interested in your stories and recollections.  It you have pictures, clippings, newsletters, records, or other general knowledge of how we got to where we are today – we need them for our archives!!!

Help us document our past so we can better prepare for the future.  Volunteer as a Club Historian or dig thru your attic for that box of old Ricochet newsletters.  Give us a call!
